This community mentoring program is for individuals and families experiencing difficulties with life issues.

C.O.A.C.H stands for Creating Opportunities And Casting Hope. A COACH mentor is a friend with a purpose who will come alongside an individual or family experiencing difficulties or doing it tough. Our friendly mentors offer long-term support to help you improve your life by working with you to achieve your goals and move forward. The Mentor will meet with you weekly or fortnightly for one to two hours at a mutually agreed location where, in a relaxed environment, you have the opportunity to chat and share experiences. You are supported in the program for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extending it to 18 months.
Areas the C.O.A.C.H. mentor can help with include:
  • Improving relationships
  • Addressing parenting difficulties
  • Managing health issues
  • Learning skills to live independently
  • Finding work
  • Connection with family and communities
  • Building resilience
