C.O.A.C.H is a community mentoring program that trains volunteer mentors to provide one-to-one support to families or individuals needing assistance with reaching their life goals.

Being in the C.O.A.C.H program can help you with things like:
  • family relationships
  • parenting
  • budgeting
  • finding work
  • substance abuse
  • reducing isolation
  • learning new life skills
You, your mentor and the C.O.A.C.H program co-ordinator will make a plan together based on your individual needs, then your mentor will commit to meeting with you weekly/fortnightly for a minimum of 12 months. Through your relationship with your mentor, you will have a friend who can help you have fun and purpose in your life.

More Information on C.O.A.C.H

C.O.A.C.H aims to equip families or individuals experiencing difficulties, with life skills that can help them to make positive changes in their lives.

C.O.A.C.H mentors are role models with life skills and training who invest time into building a friendship with families and individuals who need practical help to make the changes they need.

By breaking dysfunctional cycles and learning new skills, C.O.A.C.H mentoring offers individuals the opportunity to change and gives hope for a happy and bright future. All mentors are supported by a C.O.A.C.H co-ordinator.

C.O.A.C.H is an accredited community development program which operates in over 50 communities in Australia and the U.K.

The C.O.A.C.H program was developed by New Peninsula Baptist Church in 2004 and CityLife Community Care is a licenced operator of the program.

It has been positively evaluated by Monash University and has achieved Approved Provider Status by the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation in the U.K. Currently there are over 1000 volunteer coaches operating across both Australia and the U.K.


CityLife Community Care provides the C.O.A.C.H program for families who live in the Cities of Knox, Monash and Casey.
