Counsellor

Adiemus Seah

Adiemus is a registered level four counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), an approved supervisor with the ACA College of Supervisors, a certified Gallup Clifton Strengths Coach, and an accredited Mental Health First Aid instructor with the Mental Health First Aid Australia. He worked as an International Student Advisor at the University of Adelaide for the past four years, where his portfolio included providing guidance and counselling to international students. Prior to that, he worked at the University of South Australia (UniSA) for ten years. His key responsibilities were to counsel and support students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of personal, vocational, and mental health issues and offering immediate assistance following critical incidents. He was also a fieldwork supervisor for postgraduate social work and counselling students, where I supervised students’ professional practice.

Qualifications: Master of Applied Positive Psychology, Master in Grief and Palliative Care Counselling, Graduate Diploma in Christian Counselling, Bachelor of Christian Counselling, Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor with the MHFA Australia, Gallup Clifton Strengths Coaching Certification, Australian Applied Management Colloquium, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Clinicians, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
