Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Course

Teaching skills in giving initial help to young people experiencing mental health problems.

“FIRST AID for DEPRESSION & SUICIDE”
Tue 17 Sep (6.45pm – 9.30pm)
You will learn how to assist a person who may be experiencing depression and suicidal thoughts using a practical evidence-based action plan. Signs, symptoms and risk factors will be covered, and resources provided.

“FIRST AID for ANXIETY DISORDERS & POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS/PANIC ATTACKS”
Tue 08 Oct (6.45pm – 9.30pm)
You will learn how to assist a person who may be experiencing anxiety disorders, including post-traumatic stress and panic attacks, using a practical evidence-based action plan. Signs, symptoms and risk factors will be covered, and resources provided.

Cost: $40 per session or $35 per session if you sign up for both
