Gennene Mitchell

Gennene has over 12 years of experience working with youth, parents, adults, groups and running community development programs in churches, schools and community settings. She has a practical, respectful and encouraging approach to her work. Helping people work towards healthy choice-making and self-responsibility are key dimensions of Gennene’s work. Her main areas of experience and expertise are in working with adolescents and adults recovering from trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, loss, grief and divorce. She also works with parents of teens and blending families. Gennene enjoys using a variety of theoretical and creative approaches. She is a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator and an accredited Companion for the Seasons for Growth Program which addresses change, loss and grief.
